Small Groups

We offer two types of small groups at Wesley—Freshley small groups on Monday nights are just for first year students and Wednesday night small groups are for sophomores and older. You can find out information about each type of small group below.

The hope of any small group at Wesley or Freshley is that students would go deeper in their relationships with God in the context of community, talking about weekly messages, ways they want to grow and what they see the Lord doing in their lives.

Freshley Small Groups

Freshley small groups meet every Monday after our Freshley service which are Mondays at 8pm at Wesley. Freshley groups are divided into guy and girl groups and are led by two older students. Small groups usually last about 45 minutes and center around the teaching that evening. If you are a first year at UGA, this is one of the main ways you can get involved at Wesley as a freshman.
If you have any questions, email our small groups director Hannah Cole at hannahcole301@gmail.com.

Wednesday Night Small Groups

Also known as Wesley small groups, Wednesday night small groups meet every Wednesday after our Wesley service. They are designed for sophomore through graduate aged students. We encourage freshmen to get involved in a Monday night Freshley small group. However, if you are a freshman and have a Monday night conflict or have a question, please feel free to reach out to our small groups director Hannah Cole at hannahcole301@gmail.com.

Small groups typically last around 45 minutes and are led by two students and/or interns. There are guy-only, girl-only and mixed small groups. Mixed small groups have limited space; however, there is a lot of space in the guy groups and the girl groups.
If you are interested in joining a small group, you can come any Wednesday night and get plugged into a group or email our small groups director Hannah Cole at hannahcole301@gmail.com and she would be happy to place you into a group.
